Reactivation of Voice of Restoration Missionary Trips

After a series of meetings with Rev. William NC Garcia, Rev. James C Garcia, Brother Joseph C. Garcia, and Rev. Bernabé NC García, and upon consultation with Apostle Missionary Pastor Rev. Bernabé G. García, the consensus was reached that the bride of Jesus Christ would be best served if the Voice of Restoration reactivated the missionary trip portion of its ministry.

While it was the President’s desire that the focus of The Voice of Restoration remain the transcription and production of the messages brought by Rev. Bernabé G. García, Brother William and Joseph along with Brother James Garcia felt very strongly that a united front was best served by working under the banner of Voice of Restoration in the missionary field.

There will continue to be a marked distinction between those men sent specifically from Voice of Restoration and those that are merely sympathizers of the the Voice of Restoration. Anyone travelling on official business of the Voice of Restoration will be named specifically on this website under our “Current Trip” and our “Upcoming Trip” section.

Voice of Restoration continues to work in conjunction with other ministries, including but not limited to City of Refuge Ministries, Circuit Rider Ministry, La Sangre de Cristo, and World Wide Missionary Outreach. However, those ministries do not represent Voice of Restoration in an official capacity except as when noted from this website.

In the future ALL official Voice of Restoration events will be announced from this website. Please note that not ALL of the activities posted by Phoenix Tabernacle are Voice of Restoration events. However, our ministries are closely entwined with the ministries of all who follow the message of the hour. We support each and every church’s rights and desires to have events. It is just physically impossible for us to be at every event.

We will continue to announce and to attend non-official Voice of Restoration events as it is our continual desire to fellowship with all of our brothers. An official Voice of Restoration event is one in which the the leadership of Voice of Restoration designs, implements and carries out the programmed activities.

We covet the prayers of each and everyone of you that love the ministry of Rev. Bernabé G. García as we do our utmost to carry on the missionary work he started while remaining faithful to his vision for the future.

In his service,
Rev. Bernabé NC García for and with Rev. Bernabé G. García, Sr.

Brazil Friday April 24, 2009

We woke up had a bit of fellowship and lunch with Brother Stockmann, and then rested for a bit. We left early in the afternoon towards Caxias do Sul to keep our commitment with Pastor Neri Pinto. We arrived around six that evening after about a three hour drive. After a short rest in the hotel where the brother lodged us we got ready for church and went. It is a large church three full level and one half level that is used as a balcony for additional seating. The bottom level is a fellowship hall and kitchen. The second level (one level down from street level) is used as Sunday School facility and young people church. The third level (even with street level) is the auditorium where they have general services. The half level (one floor above street level) is a balcony they use for overflow crowds. Inside the auditorium there was room for about five hundred people, and it was mostly full that day.

I preached on The Cancer called Identity. They people were attentive but not really participative. I could tell that there was a lot of reservation in their minds and in their hearts because they were not sure if I could be trusted. I tried my best to ignore that part and poured my heart out as best I could. I shared a lot of my testimony because I wanted to get to know them better, and for them to know me. I was not very worried, because I knew that I had three days to be with these people, and all I needed to do was allow the Holy Spirit to have its way. I could tell that the people themselves really did love the Lord Jesus Christ and the message of the hour. I wondered what damage had been done by visiting ministers to cause such cautiousness.

There were about 8-10 people who were open however, and the Holy Spirit was plainly dealing with them and blessing them. I could tell that some of the people were looking at them and longing for the same blessing. When I finished speaking and handed the microphone back to the pastor I could sense a release of tension as the people realized that they had made it through my preaching without getting slammed. They began to worship God and a certain freedom was achieved. I knew that my next sermon would be impactful on their lives.

After service as I shook people's hands, many people expressed their gratitude for my being there and for the Word that I had brought that day. Some people we ecstatic, others happy, very few were indifferent. I spent a lot of time talking with the people, and getting to know them. I discovered that many of them listen to the tapes of Brother Bernabé G. García. Apparently he speaks Spanish slow enough that most of them can understand what he is saying. Bernie III was having a blast meeting all the young people and talking to everyone. Pastor Neri was happy. We went out to eat and then went to the room to sleep.
