Reactivation of Voice of Restoration Missionary Trips

After a series of meetings with Rev. William NC Garcia, Rev. James C Garcia, Brother Joseph C. Garcia, and Rev. Bernabé NC García, and upon consultation with Apostle Missionary Pastor Rev. Bernabé G. García, the consensus was reached that the bride of Jesus Christ would be best served if the Voice of Restoration reactivated the missionary trip portion of its ministry.

While it was the President’s desire that the focus of The Voice of Restoration remain the transcription and production of the messages brought by Rev. Bernabé G. García, Brother William and Joseph along with Brother James Garcia felt very strongly that a united front was best served by working under the banner of Voice of Restoration in the missionary field.

There will continue to be a marked distinction between those men sent specifically from Voice of Restoration and those that are merely sympathizers of the the Voice of Restoration. Anyone travelling on official business of the Voice of Restoration will be named specifically on this website under our “Current Trip” and our “Upcoming Trip” section.

Voice of Restoration continues to work in conjunction with other ministries, including but not limited to City of Refuge Ministries, Circuit Rider Ministry, La Sangre de Cristo, and World Wide Missionary Outreach. However, those ministries do not represent Voice of Restoration in an official capacity except as when noted from this website.

In the future ALL official Voice of Restoration events will be announced from this website. Please note that not ALL of the activities posted by Phoenix Tabernacle are Voice of Restoration events. However, our ministries are closely entwined with the ministries of all who follow the message of the hour. We support each and every church’s rights and desires to have events. It is just physically impossible for us to be at every event.

We will continue to announce and to attend non-official Voice of Restoration events as it is our continual desire to fellowship with all of our brothers. An official Voice of Restoration event is one in which the the leadership of Voice of Restoration designs, implements and carries out the programmed activities.

We covet the prayers of each and everyone of you that love the ministry of Rev. Bernabé G. García as we do our utmost to carry on the missionary work he started while remaining faithful to his vision for the future.

In his service,
Rev. Bernabé NC García for and with Rev. Bernabé G. García, Sr.

Brazil - April 22, 2009 Wednesday

Today I was asked to visit a family. I went with Brother Bissoli, Jorge, and Samuel García. The Lord Jesus Christ made himself present and revealed to me the trouble that the sister had that was causing their present problem. It was hidden way back in her past, and when I spoke to her, she immediately remembered the very day that it happened. I prayed for them, and afterwards with tears of joy the sister thanked me for my visit and for my love and declared that her life would never be the same.

At evening service it was awesome. Samuel and William both spoke after Bernie III sang and testified for about 30 minutes. William continues to develope and expand his ministry with great faith and power. I will find it hard in the future to travel without him because he is truly an asset to the ministerial team. He loves the people, has faith, and a simplicity that strikes to the very soul of the audience.

I have posted slide show/video of some our Joinville trip. You can access by clicking the link on the previous sentence or the link at the left of top of this page.

We leave very early in the morning to Sao-Leopoldo (Bernie III and myself accompanied by Brother Paulinho and Brother Fabiano). The rest of the team will return to the United States around departing around noon and arriving in Phoenix the following day about the noon.

God bless you

Brazil April 20, 2009

Monday was a great day of rest. I had not felt so tired in a long time. It seems that I still have not adjusted to the hour change here in Brazil, I am still on a sleep cycle based on Phoenix time, which is not good because I usually go to sleep there about 1:00 a.m. (which would be 5:00 a.m. here). In fact, I still have not been able to sleep, which is why I am here blogging at this time.

Anyway, Monday I got up early (around 7:30 a.m.) determined to do some work on the computer. I sat down on the computer and started typing.....

Well, I woke up at 9:00 a.m. and I had exactly one letter typed. I fell asleep sitting down with my hands over the keyboard ready to type and woke up in the very same position but with nothing done. The funny thing is that I don't remember falling asleep, it seemed like I was thinking about something all the time right up until the time that I came back to consciousness and realized that I had gotten nothing done. So I went back to lay down and did not wake again until about 11:45 a.m.

We went to eat at a hamburger place, and had huge hamburgers. I will post a picture of the plates a little later when I have time to download the photos and then upload then.

After eating, I was taken to the dentist where a lot of painful work was done on my teeth. i went home wiped out and just crashed on the bed until dinner time. I was very grateful that there was no service planned for today.

Brazil - April 19, 2009

Sunday AM service

Today service was awesome. Brother Samuel Garcia gave the second part of his testimony where God healed his mother when he gave his heart to the Lord, and how God healed him when his mother gave her heart to the Lord. Pancho gave the testimony of how his son Isaiah left him when his work on earth was done -- When Pancho gave his heart to the Lord.

Then Brother Luis Enrique Stockman of Sao Leopoldo spoke, followed by William Garcia. William did an amazing job again, and when he prayed the prayer of faith over the people you could feel the Holy Spirit come down. Many people were completely blessed and the whole church knew that God was there.

When we were dismissing, Sister Kassia sang a special song. That represented a milestone, and an example of the great work of the Lord Jesus Christ, because this special young lady, the daughter of Brother Bissoli had made a promise that she would never again sing in church until she was worthy of the Gospel. The Lord Jesus Christ was so evident in her heart as she met Mrs. Grace that she was on fire. The entire church was blessed and her father hugged her after her song.

After service we had lunch at Brother Fabiano's house in celebration of his 60th birthday.

Sunday PM Service
Service in the evening was very special as we consecrated and ordained Brother Bissoli as the Associate Pastor of the Joinville tabernacle. The special songs leading up to the ordination were awesome. After ordaining Brother Bissoli we had prayer for the entire family.

The preaching was short but powerful. Brother Pedro Pineda started, followed by Brother Jorge Scabarrozzi, and closed by Bernabé NC García. The people were receiving their deliverance during the message. Brother William NC García once again prayed the prayer of faith, and the church exploded.

After church they took us to eat at the pizza place that defies description.

We returned home at 1:30 a.m. and I updated the blog.

Brazil - April 17-19

Thursday April 17, 2009
It seems so long ago since it was Thursday that I hardly remember what we did. So many things are going on.

Friday April 18, 2009
We had a great service in the Igreja Evangelico of Joinville SC Brazil. Brother Bernie III sang a few songs, then Bernabé NC García spoke and directed the team of ministers that spoke. Brother William García continued his testimony from Wednesday and also preached a message followed by Francisco Pérez. Then Brother Jorge Scabarrozzi from Lima Peru preached and did an awesome job. Brother Pedro Pineda closed the preaching portion, and Bernabé NC Garcia did a general prayer for the people.

After service we had a celebration for one of the brothers who had a birthday.

Saturday April 19, 2009
Today we split up into three groups. Bernie III and Samuel Garcia stayed in Joinville and had youth service with the church. There was a great presence of the Holy Spirit and everyone was blessed and happy.

Brother Pedro Pineda and Jorge Scabarrozzi accompanied Brother Bissoli and then travelled about an hour away from Joinville to accompany Brother Wesley who asked for his girlfriend's hand in marriage from her parents. They were very happy and excited.

Bernabé NC García, William Noah Garcia, and Francisco Pérez were taken by Brother Fabiano Dell Agnolo to Rio Negrinho to minister in a small mission there. Brother Luis Enrique Stockman from Sao Leopoldo who drove down to Joinville to be here on Sunday followed in his car with his wife and daughter Caroline. We had quite a trip as we got lost and could not find the church. Finally we were able to locate it just as the power came back on (the neighborhood had an electrical blackout) so we actually arrived right on time.

Bernabé Jr. spoke first, then Francisco Pérez followed by William Noah García. I must say (not just because he is my brother) that William has been an amazing surprise to me. It is evident that God is with him and that his ministry is very powerful. In kidding, I told him that I knew that I could now retire knowing that things would be ok in his hands.

We drove back to Joinville arriving around midnight.

Brazil Trip - April 14, 2009 continued

We made our Joinville flight (barely because I was so into blogging that I lost track of time and they had to call our name over the PA system on the last call to board). The flight was very bumpy coming into Joinville, but it was safe and I felt calm the whole time.

At Joinville, we were greeted by over 20 people who were very happy to see us and especially Sister Lydia C Garcia. They brought her a very nice bouquet of flowers and made her feel very special. We were then taken to the Bissoli Condominiums where we were set up in our rooms, given time to shower and change clothes, and then we were taken out to eat.

While some showered, Bernie III started singing his song that Brother Fabiano and he had translated on the trip from São Paulo - En el desierto seco. It sounds very good in Portuguese, and Brother Paulinho really does it justice with his powerful voice.

We ate pizza. Well that is a real understatement. What we had was a continual smorgasbord of pizza of such variety that it staggers the mind. I must have sampled over 25 different types of pizzas including tantalizing dessert pizzas that defy descriptions. Suffice it to say that the brothers of Joinville, SC Brazil know how to feed their guests.

We then went back to the Bissoli Condominiums, had a little fellowship and then retired for the evening. I could not sleep, so I decided to finish the report for today and post it to the internet blog site.

Note: Brother Pedro informed me that Brother Ireneo Pinto has invited me to visit his church weekend after next and that he is willing to pay differences in airfares to make that happen, so tomorrow we will be making the necessary changes to our reservations so that Bernie III and I can extend our stay in Brazil another week at least. Currently we are all scheduled to return to the United States on April 23, 2009. I am also planning to visit Brother Stockman and Brother Virgilio. Keep us in prayers that these things be done in the perfect will of our Creator God.

Travel to Brazil - April 13-14, 2009

Bernabe NC Garcia, Bernie Garcia III, Lydia C Garcia, Samuel Garcia, and Francisco Perez departed Phoenix Arizona at about 3:00 p.m. on continental Airlines April 13, 2009. We arrived in Houston and went to our departure gate where William NC Garcia was already waiting for us. He had an earlier flight out of Phoenix. As boarding was commencing, we immediately had our passports checked and boarded the aircraft at 9:05 p.m.

We had a pleasant flight to Sao Paulo where we arrived at about 8:00 a.m. on April 14, 2009. After passing through customs we were greeted by Brother Fabiano Dell Agnolo of Joinville, SC Brazil who had been gracious enough to take a bus to São Paulo so that he could be there to receive us to Brazil. He arranged for transportation to the other airport where we were to depart to Joinville (São Paulo has two airports, one for international and one for national travel). After we arrived at Congonhas airport we placed our luggage in storage and went to eat at a restaurant nearby. It was an awesome Rodizio.

We then returned to the airport, checked in and got ready to take our flight to Joinville. Pancho got us access to the American Express lounge, where I took advantage of the internet access to update the missionary blog site.

Brazil - Preface to the April 2009 trip to Brazil

Well, our missionary trip to Brazil actually started two weeks ago when Bernabe NC Garcia, Bernie Garcia III, and William Garcia travelled to San Francisco to apply for our visas. We drove all night and arrived in San Francisco at about 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 1, 2009. It was quite a journey since we were not able to purchase our US Postal Service money orders with a visa card. We needed a debit card. Not having one we had to call back home to Phoenix where a deposit was made into William´s checking account. However, since the deposit was not posted immediately we were not able to access the money. We thought that we might get some money via Western Union, and so we walked to a nearby Western Union.

Boy, what a mistake! We could sense the danger in every inch of that neighborhood. A local pimp sat in the Western Union store making sure he was there to charge people who owed him money. People cashing their checks would divide up their money into every conceivable pocket they had before venturing outside. There was a look of oppression on every experession. We decided that even if we did get sent money, we did not want to collect it there, and we walked back to the embassy. By then we realized that we would not make it on time and after talking to my sister Deborah Gallardo we agreed to just wait until funds cleared on William´s account after midnight. We then contacted Brother Billy of Harare Zimbabwe Africa (who currently lives in Foster City) and he was gracious enough to receive us at his house, take us to eat, and lodge us.

We woke up early in the morning, got our money, purchased our USPS money orders, and paid for our visas. They informed us that the five year visas would be ready for pickup the following Thursday (April 09, 2008). We then drove down to Monterrey, California where we could have a little bit of fellowship with Bernie III´s girlfriend Reyna Moreira. We took her to eat at Bubba Gump´s Shrip Restaurant on Canery Row. The fellowship and meal were wonderful. We departed back to Phoenix, Arizona driving all night until we got to Phoenix.

The following week, Bernabe NC Garcia flew to San Francisco and returned the same day with everyone´s visa. The people who are on this trip are:
  • William NC Garcia
  • Lydia C Garcia
  • Bernabe NC Garcia
  • Bernie NC Garcia III
  • Francisco Perez
  • Samuel Garcia

Also already in Brazil and awaiting our arrival is Brother Pedro Pineda a VofR minister from Phoenix who is currently ministering in Durango, Durango Mexico, and Brother Jorge Scabarrozzi of Lima Peru.
