Reactivation of Voice of Restoration Missionary Trips

After a series of meetings with Rev. William NC Garcia, Rev. James C Garcia, Brother Joseph C. Garcia, and Rev. Bernabé NC García, and upon consultation with Apostle Missionary Pastor Rev. Bernabé G. García, the consensus was reached that the bride of Jesus Christ would be best served if the Voice of Restoration reactivated the missionary trip portion of its ministry.

While it was the President’s desire that the focus of The Voice of Restoration remain the transcription and production of the messages brought by Rev. Bernabé G. García, Brother William and Joseph along with Brother James Garcia felt very strongly that a united front was best served by working under the banner of Voice of Restoration in the missionary field.

There will continue to be a marked distinction between those men sent specifically from Voice of Restoration and those that are merely sympathizers of the the Voice of Restoration. Anyone travelling on official business of the Voice of Restoration will be named specifically on this website under our “Current Trip” and our “Upcoming Trip” section.

Voice of Restoration continues to work in conjunction with other ministries, including but not limited to City of Refuge Ministries, Circuit Rider Ministry, La Sangre de Cristo, and World Wide Missionary Outreach. However, those ministries do not represent Voice of Restoration in an official capacity except as when noted from this website.

In the future ALL official Voice of Restoration events will be announced from this website. Please note that not ALL of the activities posted by Phoenix Tabernacle are Voice of Restoration events. However, our ministries are closely entwined with the ministries of all who follow the message of the hour. We support each and every church’s rights and desires to have events. It is just physically impossible for us to be at every event.

We will continue to announce and to attend non-official Voice of Restoration events as it is our continual desire to fellowship with all of our brothers. An official Voice of Restoration event is one in which the the leadership of Voice of Restoration designs, implements and carries out the programmed activities.

We covet the prayers of each and everyone of you that love the ministry of Rev. Bernabé G. García as we do our utmost to carry on the missionary work he started while remaining faithful to his vision for the future.

In his service,
Rev. Bernabé NC García for and with Rev. Bernabé G. García, Sr.

Pre-Colombia trip to Northern California

Thursday, August 20, 2009—Phoenix, Arizona
After several days of desperately trying to find my lost passport, I was led by the Holy Spirit to my closet, and there in the corner of the closet, inside of a bag I practically never use and never would have expected, I found my passport there. Glory to God!

Friday, August 21, 2009—Phoenix, Arizona
After sharing time with Brother Bernabé G. García, we decided that it was the Lord's will that I visit the brothers in Northern California both before and after my trips to Colombia and Peru, so I made my reservations immediately to depart on Saturday to the Bay Area. Cheapest ticket I found was actually to the Oakland airport, so I flew into OAK.
I was able to make contact with the Chidyausika family and they graciously extended me the offer of staying at their house while they were out of town, so I had a place to stay for Friday and Saturday night. I therefore booked hotel for Sunday and Monday night.
I set my reservations to leave on Saturday August 22, 2009 and to return to Phoenix on Monday September 14, 2009.

Saturday, August 22, 2009—Bay area
I flew from Phoenix to Oakland, and brother Tito Moreira picked me up from the airport, fed me breakfast and was kind enough to lend me a vehicle so that I would not have to rent a car.
As we ate Brother Tito shared that the church in Watsonville was going to rent a small church now that fit about 80 people and that they were wondering when they could have dedication services.

I let him know that I would be back in the Bay area on September 12 and 13 after my trip to Peru, and that if he wanted me to be there that was pretty much the only time I had until after October 26 because I was already booked to Brazil for a month. He said he would talk to his dad and see what they came up with.

I was pretty much exhausted, so after eating I departed to rest at the Chidyausika house. I began to realize how much stress having lost my passport was having on me as I was exhausted.

Sunday, August 23, 2009—Watsonville, CA
I got up early, and drove to Santa Clara where Tito Moreira lives with his wife Teresita Hernandez de Moreira and together we drove to Watsonville for service in the morning.

I preached there and the presence of the Lord was very strong. There were many testimonies of how timely and blessed the message was to many that were there. Also at service was Brother Raul Najera and his mother.

After service we celebrated Brother Samuel Moreira's birthday. We then went to the coast and walked a little bit, overlooking the ocean.

We drove back to Santa Clarita (by San Jose) where I fellowshipped for awhile and used then left to go rest. We made arrangements to spend time on Monday fellowshipping.

Monday August 24, 2009—Stanford, Santa Clarita.
I woke up very late, and then drove to Stanford University to look at the bookstore like I enjoy doing every time I am in the bay area. I had lunch in Palo Alto, and then started to drove back to my hotel. I started to drive to Santa Clarita but the traffic was so intense that I decided to go back to my room and take a nap instead.

Around 7:00 p.m. after traffic had died down, I drove to Brother Tito's house in Santa Clarita and we had a wonderful time of fellowship. I was able to use the Internet to check in for my flight early the next morning. I was shocked to discover that my flight was not until about 2:00 p.m. and not the 6:00 a.m. flight that I thought I had. Hurray! I get to sleep in.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009—Travel day to Colombia
I slept in late, and then drove to Brother Tito's house where he then drove me to the airport, dropping me off in plenty of time for me to catch my flight.

He mentioned to me that he had talked to his dad and that they were going to arrange the dedication services for the new church so that they would coincide with the dates that I was going to be there on September 12 and 13, 2009.

I had a great flight to Colombia, arriving in Bogota Colombia at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday August 26, 2009.
